My favorite time? It’s when Luna and I hit the road.
Luna’s not a pet or a person. She’s my motorcycle – 500 pounds of freedom on two wheels.

When I’m on Luna, the world shifts.
Problems shrink in the rearview mirror
The to-do list evaporates. There’s just me, Luna, and the road ahead.
the world looks different from behind handlebars.ย
Luna time is when I remember why I love riding. The subtle lean into curves. The engine’s steady thrum. The scent of fresh-cut grass or pine trees hitting differently at 60 mph.
It’s meditation in motion.
My mind clears. I focus on the now. The only multitasking I do is balancing not dropping my bike with looking cool in my leather jacket.
After each ride, as I park Luna, I ask myself the same question: Which part of the road today did I like best?
The answer: The part where the road and I disagreed on where we were going, and the road won.
This philosophy of embracing the unexpected led me to write “Road Theory,” a book born from the sensation of learning to ride and falling head over heels for it. I found my voice in creating a character for whom a motorcycle wasn’t just a physical vehicle, but a portal to another realm of existence. I write aboutย how two wheels and an engine can transform not just a journey, but the rider themselves.

Here’s to Luna time. When the ride is the destination, and the world makes perfect sense.
May your roads be twisty, your skies clear, and your spirit always free.
