Two Things I Never Leave Behind

What are your two favorite things to wear?

Welcome to first-time readers! For those who don’t know me yet, I’m a motorcycle enthusiast, so you’ll often find two-wheeled adventures weaving their way through my posts. Today’s story? It’s about my most trusted riding companions.

My helmet is my personal brain bucket, my trusty skull saver.

While some folks think their head would look better with some fresh air (and maybe some fresh asphalt), I prefer keeping my thoughts tucked safely inside where they belong. Let me paint you a picture: helmets are way better at kissing pavement than your face is.

Then we’ve got my boots – real deal motorcycle boots, not those flimsy sneakers that fold like a cheap lawn chair. They’ve got more armor than a medieval knight’s shins and enough grip to keep me upright when someone spills their pumpkin spice latte at a stoplight. Because here’s the truth: skin grafts are way more expensive than good boots, and way less fun to shop for.

Keep the rubber side down and your brain where it belongs, folks.

Those ER copays aren’t getting any cheaper.

My daily fashion advisors: one protects my thoughts, the other keeps my toes from having regrets.
