I never meant to be a blogger. It wasn’t part of the plan.
Neither was writing a book (so, one unplanned step lead to another)
The “accidental” book consumed me. Fingertips raw from pounding keys, sleepless nights lit by the ghostly glow of screens. I felt like I was reaching back in time, tapping on the shoulders of my past self, urging those forgotten memories to speak.
When it was done, I felt hollowed out. Empty.
Then came the email from publishing services. Polite, professional. “Great work,” they said. “Now, about your website…”
Website? What website?
Panic set in. I dove into a maze of WordPress templates and domain registrars. Drowning in jargon, I flailed. Somehow, I surfaced with “BooksByAsher.com”

The blank website stared back at me. The empty space demanded words.
So I typed. About the book at first. Then about the writing process. Then about dreams. And then about everything WordPress daily prompt was asking me. (Suddenly, I found myself writing on “Describe your life in an alternate universe “. Turns out, I’m a dream technician)
I discovered blogs by other bloggers. Their words became mirrors, reflecting my own struggles, triumphs, descents into madness. In their stories, I saw echoes of my own journey.
So, here I am. Another blogger addicted to the pulse of publish buttons and the thrill of connection.
I’m just an engineer who found herself writing a book and then stumbled into blogging.
If you’re reading this, maybe you’re on your own unexpected journey. Or maybe you’re just curious about mine. Either way, welcome.
Let’s see where these words take us.
